| Will your 8V barrel fit on my 2V cases? Although the extra 20ft/lbs of torque your bike has would be lost with -15mm of stroke on the Bellagio shorty crank. |

| Wayne, at the moment Ron has my old munted case off being looked at by some clever people in Sydney. If we can get it re-bearinged, and that shouldn't be too hard, it should be more than possible for us to build you a 1200-8V with a crank mounted alt to slip into Bella. I still have my reservations about the frame's ability to handle the extra juice but if anyone is going to find out it'll probably be you.
You sort out some sort of alternator mount, (It's been done in Europe.) and I'll happily toss in the rest of the shit at cost and Michael and I will build the donk. Why? Because it will be fun!

| I fear a finished and sorted 485 might render any further Bellagio development obsolete. 100 rwhp pushing 140 kg (+ my fat ass). |

| If you want to have a reed read check out Dave's bike here; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]He has 5 fully registered bikes including an RC30 Honda, since the 485 was finished he has clocked up 4,000k - no problems. The other 4 bikes have been neglected. Recently Dave did a 720k ride, needed 8 fuel stops, tank holds 17 litres. Johnny (TZR535), also built Dave's motor. Five years ago he came out to Brisbane and performed his magic on Chris's 485 (my coffee roasting buddy). It has 500k on it, but working 24 hours a day and owning 13 bikes, it doesn't get ridden. These bikes began as TSS RS500GP kits, it was a Ponzi scheme and most depositors got ripped off. I am one of the lucky few who got all the bits. Yet there were still development problems to make them work properly as a street bike. Johnny Corrin has the secrets and is coming back Sept for a summer holiday. If the world doesn't implode after Brexit ..................... I got 2 months to get my shit together. Chris's full carbon RS485 - on my old ute, Â my bike obscured. | fairly cold (nay fucking freezing) this morning - saw zero on the dash a few times and it never got over 5 on the way to work. Even though I have the BarkBusters fitted, I can't stand it any more. Even though my hands have resumed normal temperatures now, they still hurt. Getting old sucks. | |

| Steering spindle being made today.
And my 2-stroke is flying, literally. Sending barrels to Johnny in UK for re-platting to correct tolerances. |

| I went last year (in the ute) to retrieve a V11 from Walcha. Ning ning should be running end of Sept. Blue heeler - mate had 8 fuel stops in 700km on his. Bella is my version of a touring bike, but I work 7 days a week, sometimes more. Actually I am unemployed until my next ph call, average 4 hours a day. Occasionally have a 4 day weekend but I'll be stuffed if I spend it sleeping on the ground with you bunch of knobs. |

| I mean that in the nicest possible way. I'm more likely to do a drive/ride on the Oxley. Creature comforts at night are a necessity. |

| Well, I added another Geegaw yesterday. My Ducati triples with 29mm less offset, = more trail. First thing neighbour said, "Gee, that has shortened the wheelbase."
Yep, -49mm according to 'puta. Arse up 60mm Head down 31.5mm
What's next? Maybe ape hangers! |
