| I decided to fly over to keep Jude company. If anyone would like to meet up for a beer I'm there until Thursday.

| Tour of the Swan river valley. Boat, wineries, run-in with a constable on a double-decker ("'Ang your ass out the slot and go to the slammer straightaway!"). Never laughed so hard in my life. | |

| Nah, I've got no bike gear and this was a last minute decision to visit as the shop is quiet and I haven't seen Erika for months, (My daughter, she's doing her PhD at UWA.). I did bring my laptop and cables though in case anybody wanted to get a map put in but wasn't game to do it themselves. I thought of your bike in fact as I knew you'd been having problems.

| Pete - if thinking of going south from Perth to Bunbury tonight - huge traffic jam from Mandjoogoordap Drv. We passed it coming North and it was ugly for many k's north. Pantech truck had caught fire, not sure how it turned out but freeway blocked both lanes south. | |

| I'm sticking some feesh and cheeps in first to coat the stomach!
Jude is running a training course for a bunch of suits some of whom got held up by the truck fire on the freeway. Some of them are now demanding they get picked up by some form of transport to take them from their accomodation to where Jude has arranged supper. It's about 200 metres! She is getting the pointed stick ready but I fear I may have to meet them and take my clothes off. That usually shuts the stupid pricks up.......
