| Hello Ghetto, Purchased a 1200 SE last week and loving the bike! i have wanted one for some time and decided to sell my ZRX and get one. Purchased in Sheffield and had a 240 mile ride home in the wind and rain not the best way to become acquainted with the bike but a good ride non the less. It's a 2011 model Black Devil registered late in November. looking at info I'm a bit confused s to the model as info online says this model didn't appear til later? Is this correct. The bikes history, apparently it was owned by the owner of Moto Strada in Bradford and has been serviced by them and also by 1921 Moto which I believe is run by the same guy who once ran Moto strada.
Bike has 9600 miles and is in very good condition think the journey home was its first outing in the rain!
Anyway hi to all, here's to thousands of happy miles together! J

| As we keep saying, pull a cambox, the tappets will be on the way out. Act sooner rather than later.

| Hi Pete, yes I keep reading about the tappett trouble, guess the only way of knowing is by looking. There is a chance that it has been done due to dealer ownership but guess I would have documents to say so. So is this a definite recall? Will I get the parts from Moto Guzzi for free? | |

| Not a recall. It's a 'technical instruction'. Free kit is dependent upon service history. I would expect yours to have a service history. You pay labour. Welcome, BTW. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| If you look at posts regarding this you'll find pics that make it easy to identify if it has been rollerised or not. All you have to do is lift a rocker cover and look. The only tools required are a 4mm allen key, a 5mm allen key and a long, thin, screwdriver to pry the plug caps off. Taking off a rocker cover will not invalidate any warranty. what you see will tell you if your bike still has flats or not.

| Hello J Welcome from us all down under in Tasmania. Hope your new bike has rollers and that you are not the poor bastard who just ended up with this issue to deal with.... Either way, once sorted you will have a great stead, enjoy and stay upright Regards | |

| Welcome to the ghetto! A 2011 Diavolo Nero doesn't seem right. If it is a 2011, I would imagine it may have started out as a Tenni. - Quote :
- Prospective customer comes into the shop circa 2012-13 and wants to buy a GRiSO but is bummed out because the beautiful Tenni is no longer available. "No problem," says the shop owner, "I have a pristine Tenni of my own. Buy this GRiSO off the showroom floor and I'll swap the Tenni bodywork over for you." The things dealers do for sales...
At any rate, check for rollers. If you're lucky, it's actually a late production 2012. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special

| The bike was first registered at the end of November 2011, also has the 2011 aniversary sticker on the tail behind the saddle. There is a possibility it could of been a show or demo model. If the Black devil came out 2012 I guess it is possible they had models at shows early on ? Or bodywork was swapped for sale as suggested by Steak? However im very pleased with the bike came with a GPR can (which i didnt like and have sold on fleabay) guzzi side panniers and hepco becker top box and plus the guzzi screen in solid black (may be painted black but done well and looks mean!) | |

| Been having a look through the forum, loads of great information on here guys, a realy good collection of GRiSO STUFF! Found the Zard exhaust i wanted on ebay, at an absolute bargain price cheaper than trade price, and then ebay gives me 15% off code ...I just had to! Have also ordered myself a set of ecu connection leads and downloaded Guzzidiag!

Hi J, I went to view that bike, clean bike for sure. I`m a newbie on here too. I bought with the knowledge that I would probably have to at some point have the headgear sorted. The biglads on here are making me do it It was the hand grips I recognised.
