It’s going to take something that big to do you some good on wind deflection.

Beetle, Something larger. This parabellum scout fairing has an 8" plexi-glass windshield. I'm 5' 11" and the wind hits me at about shoulder height. Just to give you some perspective.
Yeah, that looks good. Glad to see you're persisting in finding a good airflow solution - that fairing suits the bike so well.

I found the dart Marlin looked good, but offered absolutely no protection from the wind, which is why I gave it Clancy. Then I got an Emgo Venom which , while not as good looking as the Dart, does offer some protection.

If after all the iteration you'll settle on a windscreen and decide you don't want the original GRiSO one chuck my way !

how about one of these babies.... exceptional wind protection... I did a short 8000k in 9 days behind it back in th day
its sitting in my shed, complete with all brackets and the original instruction 'leaflet'
can look like this... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Mark, can you borrow the struts you made for the Stryker to stiffen it up? That's what I did with a couple of GIVI variations on the old GRiSO Rosso. Made a huge difference.

I am still playing with the Marlin. I took it for a run mounted in the normal position, and found it OK at below cruise, but a bit noisy at cruise. I then added some 15mm spacers to the top to change the angle. This seems to work well at cruise. It occurred to me that the sticky-uppy brake & clutch reservoirs were causing some turbulence, so I have taken (freakin' expensive) steps to reduce this. I also added a brace to the rather flexible screen brackets to (hopefully) reduce vibration.

Screens only seem to keep bugs off the instruments. Instead of cleaning the bugs off the screen, I’ll just have to clean them if the instruments.
Or, I could change my mind and put the bug screen back on. I need to do something about the headlight and the mess of wiring in there. It distracts me.

i was thinking about fairing for a while, but i rather have a laminar flow around the helmet than some fucked up turbulance over my helmet ... like on my KTM 990 Adv. I didn't change the handle bars so the wind load on my chest is not so bad, maybe its worse when sitting more straigth up.
