This is what I'm running for daily rides. I did purchase a Parabellum with a taller windshield for long distance riding. I have the Parabellum over at the paint shop. It's going to match my Dart. I'll post it up when I get it back and installed.
I fitted a úniversal'Givi screen as I was not keen on headwinds at high speed, particularly in winter months. Due to the 28mm diameter of the GRiSO bars I also had to use a Givi universal adapter kit. You can adjust the angle/ placement of the screen to suit your own specific preferences. I'm very happy. I recently owned a Tiger 1050 Sport and joined the owners forum. One of the main bitching topics was the fairing/screen, everyone waded in with ideas and suggestions but nobody seemed to better the standard set up even though it wasn't perfect. The next best thing was to take the screen off altogether or find one as small as possible. The barn door theory never achieved much unless poodling along at 70mph which sort of defeated the object. I'm in the 'least is best' camp but always ride with a tank bag on long trips, which seems to do a better job of wind protection than the screen itself.

Has anyone tried the MRA speed screen. Thinking about trying one in black. Free returns if it doesn't work out.

first post. Been lurking. May be claiming a rollered '09 soon. Live in the midwest and slab time is required to get anywhere interesting. So wind factors in to my overall decision...
Lots of great applications done already. I like that Biondi job a lot.
anyway, came across this and wondered if its ever appeared anywhere, or just someone's flight of fancy?
I picked up this carbon fibre number recently off ebay . I used the existing Dart Marlin screen bracket and the headlight mounting bolts. It has been trimmed around the headlight for a better fit since the photo was taken. The thing is light as a feather and does the job really well.

Easier to use the undercoat that's already on your bike and put a top coat of black on it to match the fairing

I didn't look very hard but the silver paint is a flat metal flake finish. It looks ok though. I also tried to copy the word GRiSO from the tail section but the black paint pen kept leaking under the tape I was using and ended up as a GRiSO smudge.

Hey Stubbie, you might want to watch out for the rubber strip around the top coming unglued. It just happened to mine so I re glued it with 2 part super glue.
