Yeah, had this mask in focus too. But at least I installed the Guzzi original.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Just found this fairing. I might try it on my GRiSO. At $60 + freight it won't matter if I have to cut and bend it. Or make something to suite.

I just bought an Emgo Venom on ebay. $113 AUD delivered from the States. The Dart Marlin looks nice but does absolutely nothing for keeping the wind off me. Hopefully this one will.

I'm running this 'free' Lockhart-Phillips carbon fiber number. Free in that it came with a larger shield I wanted for the winter months. Does a nice job of protecting the instruments and is just the right height. Helmet is in clean air while much of my torso is out of the air blast. Real carbon fiber too - weighs all of a pound.
I've got something similar on my Breva[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Nah, not yet Stubbie. I'm expecting it any day now as I've been notified that it's been posted. Nice Breva by the way. I had one before the GRiSO and shouldn't have sold it. The new missus would've loved it.

It's actually a great bike to ride around town. I really like it. Ive had it about 5 years now and never had a problem with it. Light, agile makes enough noise to be noticed. No much chop on a long ride but.

Dunno about that. I used to ride mine between Geelong and Canberra when I lived in the ACT. Did a 1600km day once. But you're right, terrific round town.

Ive probably based that long ride the last time i went out with friends of friends. 120+kmph with head wind. 500k's not much fun in that on a 750.
Just got my fairing in the post and decided to test fit. It needs some mods but should fit and once painted it should look the part.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Just looking at it quickly before I went out it appears it may need trimming at the bottom to fit correctly around the headlight and the perspex screen needs trimming to avoid hitting the master cylinders. The hole for the headlight also looks oval in shape but for a $111 it's quite good.
That does look pretty good, Stubbie. It has kind of an odd shape with those projections on the lower edge - not sure why they're there, but overall it suits nicely. I still like mine better, but yours is similar and a whole lot less expensive. Nice job.

I used to make copies of all those fairings in the early 80's for a guy who worked at a bike shop in town. The GS1000, GSX1100, Yamaha XS1.1s, Goldwing the list goes on. Wish I had kept some of those fiberglass moulds.
