| Hi guys.
I'm an old guy living in Wiltshire in England. Although my external age is mid 60's I'm only 25 in my head which is why I'm still playing with toys like the GRiSO. My first motorcycle was a Panther Redwing which I had when I was 16 and living and going to school in Adelaide, South Australia. Registration number was 'SA8000', I'd love to know where it is now so if you see it around do let me know. I came back to England in the late 60's (I was borne here) and since then have owned various bikes - Vincent, Vespa (to pass a test on), Bonneville, Kawasaki, Harley and now GRiSO.
I bought the GRiSO a few months ago from CUBO in Huddersfield. Really nice guys, I would recommend them if you are looking for anything. The GRiSO is 10 years old but looks like new - I bought it on the strength of the pictures on their web site, too far to go for a look in person, and I'm glad to say I couldn't be happier. I think it was imported from Italy about 5 years ago and had the speedo and headlight changed then so it shows only about 2500 miles covered. I think it's stock except for a hugger, a mistral can (sounds good), a pair of 'snap up' leavers for brake & clutch and a funny little screen (looks home made) which does no more than keep the flies off the speedo - looks quite smart though.
The bike rides well and is swift enough for me - I've no need to get my knee down these days - however I do have one question...... The fuelling is a bit sudden when throttling off/on at low RPM and I see on the forum that 'beetle' has a list of fuel maps one of which may cure the problem. Does anyone know if it's available in England? Or can it be sent by e-mail? I know very little about software so I need a little help here. I think the one I need is 'GRiSO-FU2-4V-6A01.2015.02.25' but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Well, that's it. My first post on any forum anywhere.
More power to your elbow and make sure you go fast enough to kill the bugs before they bite.

| Hello and welcome from Oxforderershirerer. Good choice! The mapsters will be along soon no doubt. We managed to get 10 UK GRiSO's together in July. A good sight and sound! Enjoy. | |

| Welcome, Reckless. I too have a GRiSO 1100 (red, 2007) and love the piss out of it. 50,000 miles and counting. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]“Danger + Survival = Fun.” - Neil Peart[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Gday Reckless. Welcome. I have an 06 1100 with a Beetle map in it and can highly recommend a Beetle map and the Guzzidiag . As as already been suggested Beetle or Pete will chime in shortly. Knowledgable helpful friendly advice abounds her amongst a heap of humour. Cheers. | |

| welcome to the Ghetto, Reckless! I'm not really a forum kinda guy myself, but this one is great.
Lots of info and laughs. The Magellan crew will be along to guide you through the sometimes
perilous world of GRiSO ownership, fraught with plug and play oxygen sensor devices, BMC filters, and
other dangers you may encounter along the way!

| Welcome Reckless!
The map you mention is indeed the one you need, provided you haven't molested the G with horrors such as Daves mentions. (Magellan crew?) - oh yeah, and the Mistral has a dB killer.
PM me your email address, lest the interwebs find you and send you offers of penis enlargement and Ukrainian brides.
Oh, and you'll need the GuzziDiag software and cables. Read up on the use of same elsewhere in this forum.

| I got offered a Ukranian bride with an enlarged penis last week! A disturbing image that has given me a few sleeping issues but the doctor says I'm going to be fine soon....... | |

You are most likely the youngest 60's aged guy here to own a GRiSO. Congrats at any age. It's a great toy for oneself! That being said, I'm sure some wise ass will chime in shortly to say he only feels 24 in his head.
