I'm leaning towards my old favourites of almost midnight blue and yellow. I've got the Givi fairing too so one lot will probably 'Touring' plumage and the 'Green' will remain as 'Hooning around' plumage. Very Happy

Here in the States, that's the color combo (midnight blue and yellow) of the Cub Scouts, the toddler version of the vaunted Boy Scouts, best known for their aversion to gay people and a rumored penchant for child molestation second only to the Vatican system of buggery. It's also the color scheme (navy blue and yellow) favored by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. That's the precision flying team of F/A-18 Hornet pilots who wow people everywhere they perform. Personally, I'm torn. I find their aerobatic maneuvers beautiful and graceful, but what they actually represent, military might and global dominance, not to mention horrific noise, rather distasteful. Whatever your politics, and for whatever it's worth (zippo) they're blue and yellow like the Cubbies, which , come to think of it, as an arm of the Boy Scouts, is a militaristic organization at heart.

Anyway...I'd love to hear what bits you're thinking of painting which color, maybe I could do a little PhotoShop preview for ya...

Found this kind of burnt copper on a 2001 Lemans v11. I like with the matte black, too.
