| Hi GRiSO owner for the last couple of years and it gets better and better! Also own a MKII lemans. Heard about the ghetto from some NSW owners that visited Adelaide recently and it's highly recommended. So here I am to see for myself. Recently attended the ragged fringe and am thinking of heading to Spaghetti. Like to hear from other GRiSO owners, particularly Aussies with advice on where to get what. Currently seeking luggage rack. Ventura looks like the go but not sure where to source it or if there are better options.
Cheers | |

| Welcome "We Don't Know Your Name"! (Is it Tony?) Mal did mention you were joining (or had already joined), he also mentioned your name (which I Forgot - CRAFT).
Lot's to learn here, for the discerning gentleman - I nearly made myself puke with that one! Seriously, all good fun and most excellent information and guidance.

| Welcome. To answer your question about luggage racks, the Ventura system (made in NZ) is a fine system and works well if you have no pillion. It's a fairly popular option. If I had to rank luggage options for the GRiSO by popularity it would probably go:
Hepco Becker C-Bow with Street panniers > OEM Panniers > GIVI/HB hard bags > Ventura pillion bags > generic throw over panniers or pillion duffle.
That's not to say that the Ventura system is inferior, just not as well known/readily available. I've used both the C-Bow system and the Ventura. Both are economical and utilitarian options. I do prefer the appearance of the C-Bows vs. the Ventura racks when mounted w/o the bags. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special

| I hate the look of the ventura, I am running the c-bow system it makes the GRiSO a really practical bike | |

| On ya Tony! Good to see you again - you're looking well! Dollops of wisdom here, if taken with the odd grain of salt.
I believe Kenma is the distributor here. At both Kenma & Ventura in NZ (Dold Industries) they only seem to have in stock ones for the 1100 & 850; a phone call would confirm availability & fit for yours, should you decide to go that way.

| Thanks Street. Yep. The white had me years before I bought this one. What tipped me to purchase was the frame tube got black and spoked wheels could be thrown in as part of the deal. Only mods are map, less rise and sweep in the $70, off-the-shelf motor cross bars and bar end mirrors. Now, so you guys can laugh, the same as everyone else does............ bar end mirrors massively reduce all that wind buffeting. I will stand by this claim till the end of my days. Now...... less forum and more tracking down the right luggage. Talk soon! | |
