| Shows how shitty it was before. I haven't put the roller map in yet and it's still so much happier. Funny when I first fired it up it ran like a dog. The. I found the stepper hose had fallen off the air box . Whoops! Embarrassing!  | |

Strangely, no? While it makes the characteristic 'Roller' *Whirr* it also still makes a lot of the rattles and clanks it's always made! Why? Fuctifino! It has a completely new motive unit, engine, clutch, gearbox, it's tuned right, (Apart from the new map.) but it's still horribly noisy compared to any othe 8V I've ever worked on! I have no idea why! It does go a lot better than the tired old engine though! Pete | |

| Hey Pete, I just swapped my levers out, because I wanted to get something shorter. My old ones are actually really good ones (cost me North of $200 a few years ago), they're Pazzo folding levers ( not Pazzo from China, Pazzo from Pazzo!) I thought since you've given out so much information to help us all out, (sorry, beetle, only have one pair!), that I'd see if you wanted them? If you just cover what ever it costs me to ship them out, I'd be happy to package them up. Since you seem to have a love of the colour green, I thought these would be right up your alley!
