| Just to clarify. I remember reading that Pete set his valves at 6thou for intake and 8thou for exhaust. I did this and while my GRiSO runs great, it is a bit noisy. My question is, is this best for the roller valve Grisos? Or should I go back to 4 & 6 as the book says. Of course the book was for an older flat tappet model.. Enjoy the noise or doing damage? | |

| Mine were set at a recent service at 4 and 6, with a roller conversion | |

| 4 & 6
However, if you run one of my maps, 6 & 8. After I've updated all of them to "roller maps", 4 & 6.

| OK I AM running your map so I will stick with 6 & 8 and enjoy the clattering.
Just out of curiosity, why the more open setting?

| 6 & 8 is what my valves were set on when I had flat tappets, and therefore the maps.
Now I have rollers at 4 & 6, and there is a difference, so they will get roller updates. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| OK, now I am confused again! Should I reset my valves on my roller GRiSO to 4 & 6 or am I OK with 6 & 8?

| I have a vision of an 'Erudite' being similar to a Trilobite or maybe a Copralite | |

| Just checked my valves. Very slightly looser on the intakes and very slightly tighter on the exhaust. Tweaked them back to 6 & 8. Plugs look excellent. Life is good!
Looking forward to the roller map.
Thanks | |
