New to GRiSO & Guzzi ownership

Hi all. picked up my 2008 1064 GRiSO from local Italian specialists MotoCorsa on Friday, paid for it a couple of weeks ago but too busy to collect until then. Managed to get a about a hundred miles on it over the weekend and really enjoying the new riding experience, I've never even considered or sat on a Guzzi let alone owned one before so I guess a few things to learn ; )

First impressions; bloody long reach to the bars, not the fastest lump but I think it's going to cover ground deceptively quickly, love the suspension/ride (although I think my shock a bit tired), tyres have pronounced flat spots (part of the reason of the reason I managed to strike a deal) and although it doesn't track as bad as some would on white lines, etc it does squirm a bit, sounds gorgeous (not too loud) with baffle removed from the Termi, brakes are superb, loads of feel and bite - the best bit, my wife loves it!

Looking forward to finding out what I've bought and getting some miles on it Very Happy

I also have a 1100, and am new to Guzzi too. I bought my bike without even seeing it in the flesh (as my MG dealer is a 7 hour trip away...) - I just wanted it so badly. The moment I started the engine and drove off I knew I had struck gold!

Hello Trev , I had an 1100 that I bought unseen off ebay, it was as good as the ad luckily. It was the start of the Guzzi experience.
