| Hi thanks for letting me join your esteemed forum- I'm here to learn, being between bikes and having the GRiSO at the top of my list for a new one once I have "finished the house" in a few months. (...hey smart correct just changed "GRiSO" to "grass" and then "gross" - maybe that thing has a sense of humour). My last bike was more of an "extra limb" - a VTR1000F which I bought with 11k on the clock and sold with 142k. It was meant to be a guzzi but somehow in 2002 it just didn't happen... I have no regrets, but I do have unfinished business. I had the good fortune to be raised in Bathurst NSW in the 1970's - a motorhead town in those days and every easter we had the easter bike races at Mount Panorama. Greg Hansford always used to win on his Kawasaki but the virus of Italian bikes was planted then. (mind you if I could find a Manz Norton...vintage even then but still raced in one of the classes). So other than wanting one I have no real guzzi credentials and the guy at Motociclo at St Peters must be getting sick of me by now. Now there's a man with a good job. PeterC, Blue Mountains NSW | |

| Gidday mate, where in the blue mountains are you? I used to have a house at Springwood, but never ended up moving there - now sold on.
You must mean John at MotoCiclo - good bloke, and always busy. | |

| Welcome, I've only been here a week, and I've come from a VTR1000 to the GRiSO. At least you will experience a slight improvement in fuel range, the only annoying thing about the VTR. | |

| hey thanks for the welcomes - yes that will be john... might look you up when I bring the bike through Thirroul - great riding down there. I'm going to Tassy also this year - but alas bikes. As to the lumpiness of the VTR...those were the days - a real bike!! | |
