| Hey GRiSO lovers... Just joined the site and I will post pics of my 2 Grisos soon. Have a 09 G12 and a 07 G11 (the wife's actually), love 'em both! Purchase the bikes new, the 09 in 2010 and the 07 in 2011 (left over stock) from Ridershill in Dahlonega. My 09 has 36K miles on it and the 07 about 15K. Only hick up... got into an accident 2 weeks ago with the G12 and I'm almost sure it's a total loss, but I'll buy it back and... ... get a new one as well Can't be Grisoless, not Sir! I look forward to hang with you guys... | |

| Welcome to the ghetto! It doesn't take much for the insurers to total a GRiSO... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Hopefully you fared well enough in your accident and are on the mend. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special | |

| you have an 1100 and a 1200?? Interesting. I have a rockin 1100 and I want to try out a 1200 but I can wait on that. Maybe I can just hop up my 1100. Maybe I can snatch money out of my wife's hands before she spends it on her Suzuki Gladius....

| Well steak I know... Insurers are very afraid of liability with motorcycles. The other thing is, the parts are expensive so it's easy to reach the threshold of the total amount figure. In my case, both my rims are buckled so it's about $2000 right there. The stock muffler is wasted, another $1500 or so. The shifter is sheared off but most importantly, the left side jug top thin is grinded down pretty good and of course, the valve cover lost half of its mass. This is just the visual stuff, I don't know what the forks are like, the CARC might be compromised (bearing etc...). The weird thing is that none of the body work pieces have a scratch on them, including my now discontinued Givi 770! I can't see damages on the turn signals and the clutch lever is slightly scrapped.
I just custom painted the damn thing (bike was white originally) and rig up a pair of brackets for Givi V35 hard cases that I color matched to the bike. They were not on when the crash occur.
The accident was entirely my fault and I did it all by myself... It was at night and I didn't see a concrete median between the 2 left turning lanes and straight through ones!! I mean, who the fuck does that! Well the City of Maitland obviously. I understand concrete dividing between opposite directions but between left and straight lane going the same way? Anyway it was dark and it started with paint on the ground and then the concrete half way to the end. I never saw it coming and hit hard. The bike went over and fell on the left side while I was thrown off pronto. No broken bones but bruised all over, thanks for the gears... | |

| Pinwall is parting oun a minimally damaged 1200 8V right now on ebay if you'll be looking for pieces to rebuild your total buy-back. They parted out my 1100 after my accident 5 years ago, they are up in Ohio somewheres... Well having just looked again, there probably isn't much left of it you can use. It's actually kind of sad to watch a GRiSO die there on ebay anyway...

| After the paint job... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The main reason I painted it, is that the "GRiSO 8V" decal on the tank was peeling off and pulling the clear in the process. So it was a repaint and I decided to do a custom job. | |
