Whooshing sound coming from fuel cap

I just loaded up Marks maps, did the whole shebang, and while I was in the driveway feeling out the changes in throttle position I noticed and strange sound coming from the fuel cap. It's loudest at very slight,maybe 1/8, throttle and sounds like a cross between a honk and a buzz. Very strange. When I cracked open the fuel cap there was no excess pressure or anything out of the ordinary. Is this normal or something I should be worried about?

By the way, 1100 with ~17000km on it

Mine makes that noise (honk/groan) when put to bed after a good ride. Some sort of mild pressure equalization somewhere in the fuel system. Perfectly normal.

Mine does it constantly at partial throttle though. I can hear it over the throttle when i'm cruising in slow traffic. Could it be related to a high hanging idle that just appeared? Reset the auto-learning parameters, anyone had this clear itself up?

The hanging throttle has happened to me randomly. With different maps too. I think it may be an incorrect or delayed response from the stepper. I haven't tried to fix it because its rare and random. If it happens constantly, there may be a vacuum effect causing it, but I don't know at this time.

Hanging throttle seems to be temperature related as well.

First time it happened to me last summer I had been stuck in traffic for a bit, 1st gear. Happened a few weeks ago in similar conditions. Maybe stepper programming to try and circulate oil faster?

It sounds like some people have solved it with a canister-ectomy, so that will be my next move. I can't stand the hanging idle. It isn't like the old occasional hanging idle once a ride, now it insists on idling at 2k rpm unless you pull it down to 1100 with the engine load.
I also just rode through the heaviest rainstorm i've ever been in, so i'm going to investigate the breather lines to see if they're plugged. This popped up when the temperature dropped slightly to a manageable 25 degrees instead of 32, so i'm at a loss

It had been hanging since the map update. Coincidentally, I did the map update right after riding through 3 hours of very heavy rain. Regardless, i'm now canister-less and all of my problems vanished. Still need to reset the TPS but no more honk or hanging idles.
