Engine Temp Sensor Holder

In preparation for a major service , I have discovered the Eng.Temp sensor holder loose in the head. Years ago I filled the void under the sensor with heat sink paste, remove sensor from holder, fill , replace sensor making sure excess paste doesn't crack holder, no drama.
My questions are ,1 How do you tighten the shitty plastic holder without it cracking?
2. is there a brass or aluminium replacement holder? cheers.

Charlie, I *may* have one of the brass holders in my toolbox. I'll have to check.

I believe, if Pete doesn't have one, that 1100 Sport website had them some time back...
