Run for the Hills Empty
PostSubject: Run for the Hills   Run for the Hills Icon_minitime1Fri Jun 05, 2015 6:23 am

Hi All,
 I took my 2012 GRiSO for a nice 2,000 mile ride last weekend.  I rode from N. Illinois down through IN, KY, TN, NC, and back.  Lots of rain!!  The bike ran great, no issues at all, save a bar end that rattled off somewhere. I had some 'touring' additions to the bike, such as a throttle lock, sheepskin seat pad, windshield, bar risers, luggage rack, gps, etc.  The bike handled the mountain roads wonderfully!!  Laughing
Anyway, here's a few photos;

That looks like a great ride. After all of these years in the desert I sometimes miss riding in and around the Midwest. Your Tenni is a great looking bike.

2000 miles is a good effort, but then again you were on the GRiSO.

No Ironbutt this ride. It was a long, 5 day weekend! 760 miles was longest 1 day total on the GRiSO.

That's the Genuine Guzzi Accessory "Touring Screen". No longer available, I think?

Great looking bike. Lurks in well with the green countryside.

I forgot to mention, I averaged ~45 mpg for the trip - that's both flogging the crap out of the beast in the mountains, and some long drones @ 75mph on the highway. Thanks Mark for fantastic maps!! Thumbs Up

Oh yeah, I also received a "Performance Citation" from the nice North Carolina Highway Patrol Neutral
