| Just a quick update for all those who are concerned. I picked up my bike from the shop after waiting 40 days for a part. The part was installed. The front wheel still leaked air. I took Pete's advice and expressed myself forcefully but politely how I thought this was Bull shit. I was told that to fix the problem, I need a new front wheel which is covered under the warranty BUT it's going to take about a YEAR to get the wheel. CrazY? I bought an electric compressor and now I have to check the tire pressure every day. 36 psi front , 38 psi rear. I will replace the front tire when the wheel shows up.

| So what is leaking? A spoke? The valve stem? How come a wheel will take a year? Do they only deliver parts by donkey or something?

| In the mean time why not; 1. Have a tube fitted. 2. Remove tyre and seal offending spoke with silastic. 3. Solve all the above issues with a carbon fibre wheel? Sorry, had to ask. |

| Hi Pete
The air is escaping where the valve stem and the wheel join. There is a small imperfection in the wheel so when they replace with a new valve stem, it only slowed down the leak. It didn't stop it. As far as replacing the wheel and why it will take so long, the dealer told me there are no spare wheels in North America so it has to be ordered in from Europe and the last time they had a similar situation, it took a year to get the part.
I wish they delivered it by donkey, it might be faster!

| As far as putting a tube in, I would do it in a heartbeat if the bike wasn't under warranty. I would love a carbon fibre wheel but my wife, even though she is the best in the world, would hang me by the short hairs when I presented her with the bill for a carbon fibre wheel. She let me get an exhaust system and some really cool parts. I'll keep working on her for the carbon fibre wheels!

| T worst the dealer should locate a used rim and loan it to you until the new one appears. |

| sorry to hear about this! Do they have no other GRiSO's on the floor that haven't sold.. maybe they could burgle a wheel from it.. that sounds like terrible customer service to me. they really arent doing very much to keep you as a customer! i would be furious if after paying this much for a bike, and finding it defective from the factory to be told that it wont be corrected for 12 months. i bet it doesnt take 12 months to order new stock to fill their showroom floor with. have you contacted moto guzzi of canada? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]curious what they might have to say about it.. on second thought, you might be able to push LEMON law on this issue.. the bike has already been out of service for more than the allotted time required(30 days). if they have attempted to repair the problem 3 times, you're in good shape. i would definitely go above their heads on this one and contact guzzi of canada. if the establishments who sell the brand are refusing to help the customers that keep them in business, i guarantee the manufacturer will be eager to hear about it. good luck brother

| The more I think about this, the more it pisses me off. This dealership needs to be bypassed and you should go straight to MG. There is no excuse for this sort of treatment. |

| I hope you were the one who bought the Ebay listing for a front wheel. As to a year to ship, I bought an exhaust can from Italy and it took 15 days. Youre being played. | |
