| I like the reach and angles of the original GRiSO 8V handlebars but would like them a little less wide. Suggestions welcome. Pictures please!

| I'm also interested, particularly in the bar Pete Roper mentioned, a Protaper, but that was all the description he had. Who is Mark S?
The stock bars are a bit wide, I'm trying to acclimate before I start changing things but it would be nice to pull in my wings a bit. But I know that width provides excellent leverage for a pretty heavy machine.

| Mark S is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. As for the bars, somebody here (who's name I can't remember) shortened his stock bars. IIRC they tapped the bars to screw in the bar-end attachments. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| I installed the Aprilla Mana bars this week. I can truthfully say the bike seems to handle quicker, I am much more comfortable and the shoulder pain I usually have after riding 4 hours is nonexistent. The bars were $80 at AF1 in Texas. Great upgrade for me at least. Downside, they are a "poxy silver" color and they scratch very easily. | |

| I have the Mana bars as well. They're narrower (by 45mm) and have more pull-back. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Ron, parroting what Beetle said: "I have the Mana bars as well. They're narrower (by 45mm) and have more pull-back." Just enough pullback but so much to not interfere with clearing the tank on full lock . | |

| Stock handlebar with Balabio risers. 1" or so lower and about an inch or so more forward than stock.. Works for me. |

| Hey Harry, that seems to be opposite to the general consensus. What are the benefits? | |

There are NO comfort advantages to this whatsoever unless you are seeking max performance and shorter ride duration. Putting more stress on wrists and neck, shoulders would shorten comfortable ride time. You want to sit more upright to relax more. | |

| I haven't looked into Mana bars but I want to get the Aprilia Falco bars. Uses the same forks as my 1100.

| Af1 site shows this to not be in stock but available for shipping in 5-7 days. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Peter, just in case you didn't know, the Mana is a current Aprilia model. So you should be able to source the bars from a local (to you) Aprilia dealer. The advantage being that the Mana uses the same switch gear as the GRiSO, so the fitment is a given with no need for any modification. | Mark has posted up pics of these bars on his buke before. I don't have them on my GRiSO but I do own a Mana so I can find a pic of them somewhere, (Or take one for you if you wish.) and post it up. I could of done aside by side comparison but Mark S came and pinched the GRiSO last night.

| Gee, I wonder if I could still use them with the 1"risers I have on already? Being a little narrower might negate the additional pullback, leaving enough slack in cables and brake lines. | |

| You should be able to. I have the Mana bars with risers on my 1100 and the cables/lines were fine (although with not much to spare).
