| G'day,
Seems like the GRiSO is a popular bike here in Australia. My name is Josh and I'm currently living in Brisbane, Queensland.
My 2010 plate GRiSO SE (Tenni Green) was delivered around April that year and I've clocked up around 25,000 km since then. I'm not exactly sure of the milage as it is currently without a battery (a replacement should be arriving within the next few days). Sadly, the bike hasn't been ridden in over a year. Long story short, I have thought I would have to sell it, but within the last week or two I've been able to make arrangements that have meant I can keep the bike. I've really missed motorcycling and especially riding my Guzzi and I'm very excited about getting back in the saddle.
First step is to freshen it up and do a few modifications that I've been planning for years but haven't got around to. First steps are replacing the parts I have never liked (indicators, rear mud guard/plate holder, mirrors, handlebars...and generally any non-essential plastic) and replacing the stock exhaust can. I also want to improve the suspension, upgrade the brake pads and give the whole bike a really thorough service (although I think I've done ok with the maintenance thus far). But really I've loved this bike from the ride home when I first picked it up and even 100% stock it's been a joy to own and ride.
I got my bike licence in 2006 (early 20's) and my first bike was an ex-Police BMW K1100 LT off eBay. Since then I've owned an '07 (?) Kawasaki 1400GTR (aka GTR1400), an '09 Kawasaki ZX14 (aka ZX1400) and now the GRiSO. I have commuted at times (not on the Guzzi), but most of my riding is over and in between the mountains here in South East Queensland and down towards the ACT through Northern NSW. The Oxley Highway is my favourite track, although I used to live in Lower Beechmont and love the twisties around there too. Other favs are the Waterfall Way and Mount Lindesay Hwy across the border.
I'm also a big MotoGP fan.
Thanks to all the existing members and admin for creating such a great forum. I've been doing a lot of reading here in the past week and have already learned heaps. Looking forward to contributing and continuing to learn here in The Ghetto.
Cheers, Josh

| Welcome mang! Yeah, it seems that Guzzi sends almost all the Grisos to the Osstralian market eh? I'm sure if I sell mine, it will end up in your neighborhood too!!

| Welcome!
You sound like me with all the mods you're prepping to do on your GRiSO...finally some else who thinks bug-eye stalk indicators sticking out in the wind ruin the lines of a motorcycle!
