...what is the best way to remove them without damaging the paint? I just brought home my new 2015 MG GRiSO 1200SE and am finding that the stickers on the tank and side fairing don't come off with fingernails.

What have you guys successfully and safely used to remove these annoying stickers?

Will try a soft edged wooden tong and spirits first.  Hate to take a hair dryer to the tank and fairing and run the risk of deforming them and/or damaging the paint.  Thanks both of you!

I used a hair dryer and once I could push up a corner slightly with my finger nail, I then used a pair of tweezers to get a good grip and they all came off in like 5 minutes. No residual glue was left either

Just be patient with the hair dryer and not too close to the paint. Once you start pulling with the tweezers, keep waving the dryer about 6 to 8 inches away and it comes of easy.

Heat. I used a heat gun on low. Came off easily.

Yep, heat is the key and like Beetle says... not too close to the paint.

If you have sunshine, park in it and let the whole tank get very warm. Then use a piece of flexible plastic (an old credit card works well) and some soapy water to get under an edge and work it off. The water is a good lubricant to prevent any chance of marring the plastic tank. Or ask your dealer to do it as part of PDI.
