Hello From New Jersey

Been following this forum for some time now, just waiting for the right time to go ahead and get a GRiSO. Finally bit the bullet and picked up a 2015 from FBF. Had a choice between the 14 and this one, but I got a deal I couldn't refuse on the 15 and really liked the red a bit better. Already ordered a Dart flyscreen and oil cooler grill and have a short list of a few other items needed. Last time I was this excited about a new bike was in 2006 with a new K1200R, which was a fueling nightmare for the two years of ownership. Hope I have better luck with the GRiSO and be able to figure out the Guzzidiag if needed once I get past the first service (which hopefully won't be to long)
Looks like Saturday I be able to take it home.

Welcome Trknomo,

I'm an hour or so north from you. There's a pretty active Guzzi group here in NJ and you should ride up and join us when you can.

We have a message board located here: MGNOC of NJ Check it to see when we're getting together again.

In case you are not aware, there is an event called "The Gathering of the Norton's" over at Washington's Crossing Park early in April. We usually ride our Guzzis over as a group and sometimes there have been more Guzzi's than Norton's Thumbs Up

If you and Ronbo10 join us, then there'll be at least three GRiSO's there. That's enough for a cabal right?

First, welcome, Trknomo.

Nice GRiSO. Saw my first one that color "in the flesh" at the dealer in Dahlonega yesterday. VERY nice.

And, I have a family commitment in Baltimore on Saturday. If the weather cards are dealt nicely for that weekend, I'll be at the Norton event, too. If Kathi wants to come, tho, might be on the Norge as she gives me "The Look" and rolls her eyes when I suggest she ride pillion on the GRiSO. queen

Sounds good. I did check out MGNOC and have to do the sign up. I was planning on going to the gathering of Nortons, would mind riding in with you guys, just depends where everyone is meeting up..

Welcome. The red is quite striking. I notice stamped 'Moto Guzzi' on the back of the seat. Nice touch.

Funny you mentioned that. I was undecided between the 2014 or the 15 as both were side by side. The price difference was so minimal that it didn't make a difference, but couldn't make up my mind. The salesman and I kept looking for any difference that could help me decide and my daughter noticed the Moto Guzzi on the back of the 15 seat..that was it..that was the difference I was looking for and made up my mind!

My 2007 1100 has the Moto Guzzi on the back of the seat as well thought that was standard for all years Neutral
