There is now additional room in my garage. I sold my BMW today. It was the first BMW I ever had. My GRiSO SE seems a lot happier now that the big German is gone. I sold the Wonderturd to a younger guy looking for something to keep up with his buddies Yamaha FJR 1400. He walked in my garage this morning and walked right past the 1200 GT and stared at my GRiSO. I told him "hey bud the one you want is in the driveway." This is the first time in 20 years that I am down to one bike. I am going shopping next week.

You're close enough to this one in Texas. Guzzi V11 Sport Looks pretty nice and the price is cheap (no affiliation, just think it's bitchin'). Hope posting this is OK if not please delete.

Luverly bike. Saw them at the Cologne show a few years ago when they first brought them out. Low seat. I've been shopping too. Pick it up on March 1st. Not one of them 4 cylinder hobbies though.

I had to drop the foot pegs on mine; bought some used units from another CB1100 owner that were for the Buell. Got a custom seat made a bit higher which may mean I can go back to stock pegs now.

Otherwise; the stock seat is not too bad, good for an hour or two. Just low for my long legs. You can check out my seat and pegs some time. Give you a benchmark on where to go, or not go. Smile

I was fine with the mirrors until I spent a lot of time on the GRiSO (rally) then jumped on the CB, mirrors felt out of place. Installed the nice black streamlined ones from a CB500. Lower, rectangular profile; I think they look better and they are where my eyes expect them now. Not too expensive either.

The motor has sneaky torque too. Very Happy

Congrat's...I like the CB and almost pulled the trigger on one. Looks like you got the Deluxe model which is the way to go on the CB.

True.
But.....
I spent 80,000 miles on a Gen-U-Ine CB750 and I can tell you that this new CB1100 is everything I wanted that 750 to be.
If I still wanted an inline four...... But I don't.
